TEFSO, The Entrepreneur Society of Furniture Producers & Sellers of Tehran has proceeded to gather the history of Iran's furniture, as one the oldest crafts in the country and in order to preserve scientific and archaic legacies of furniture and decoration industry, in a place called Iran National Furniture Museum.

The objective has been to establish a location to gather antique furniture and also to carry out researches and studies on history of furniture in Iran and other countries.

Presenting above mentioned to everyone, whether fans, students, professors, scholars and all involved in this industry, has been for the sole purpose of improving the quality and quantity of local production and enhancing the position of furniture export in Iran.

Necessary permits and approvals have been obtained from Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization and Museum Board of Trustees have been selected.

Museum building is located at Iran Furniture Market, Complex No. 2 and currently is under construction. Simultaneously planning for collecting necessary works and antiques is being carried out by utilizing professional advisors and cooperation of related authorities.
