Dozens of representatives from companies, countries and foreign furniture unions participated alongside local companies in this conference.

Commissioners and chairmen from furniture unions of Russia, South Korea, Syria, Ukraine, Malaysia, Turkey and also commissioners of decoration and furniture industry in France, Italy and the Netherlands presented their latest achievements.

In this two days long conference, two professional panels were held with the titles "The Place of Export in Iranian Furniture Industry, The Opportunities and Challenges" and "Iran's Commercial Opportunities toward other Countries".

Also training workshops such as furniture designing and production, indicatives in the furniture industry, decoration and illumination, marketing and innovation were set up in this two days long conference.

The objectives of Deco 2009, The 2nd International Conference on World Trade in Furniture, Decoration & Interior Design were improving economical position of furniture industry in the country and establishing suitable infrastructures for furniture supply inside and outside the country.
